Our Traditional® 6″ fillet/boning knife is known far and wide by commercial and charter fishers as their favorite knife. Designed with a stiff blade, it makes fileting and boning various types of panfish easier than ever. It can even be used to debone poultry and smaller cuts of meat. This knife features a traditional wood style handle that is favored by many fishers for its excellent cuts and long-lasting construction. The blade may develop a black patina over the course of use, but this is completely normal. If you would prefer a larger or smaller fillet/boning knife, we also have 5”, 7”, and 8″ versions as well.
